We’re seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our Transport team in Barcelona or Porto (hybrid). You’ll help customers reach their destinations by finding the best travel deals, combining more than 700 airlines and 100,000 flights worldwide every day to offer millions of combinations in real time across flights, trains, and hotels.

What you will do

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks include:

• Work with a top‑notch tech stack, including Java 17, BigData (Kafka, BigTable, Redis, PostgreSQL), LLMs, Datamesh, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Sonarqube and Datadog.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture, and Data Science to shape the technical strategy and evolution of the Payments domain, define the technical strategy for your modules, and ensure optimal performance.
