JANITOR – Kuujjuaq Airport (Permanent, Full-time)

Reporting to the Airport Manager, the Janitor will keep offices, main entrance, rest rooms, and furniture clean and orderly by washing and waxing floors, vacuuming, emptying wastepaper baskets, washing windows, and performing other related duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors when needed.
• Gather and empty wastepaper baskets and bring trash to the main container.
• Service, clean, and supply the bathroom.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, etc.
• Dust furniture, some walls, and some equipment.
• Notify management of any required repairs.
• Empty, clean, and manage waste containers and smoking urns in front of the terminal.
• Perform spot cleaning as required.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and paper products are stocked and replenished. <...
