**POSITION SUMMARY**
Performs various janitorial duties in cleaning and maintaining offices, washrooms, lunchrooms, and work areas.
**Qualifications**
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Maintains garages and related buildings and facilities in a clean, neat and orderly condition.
* Picks up debris, sweeps, dusts, scrubs floors, wall, woodwork etc.
* Washes windows, signs, tables, sinks, lavatories, toilets, etc.
* Empties trash containers and removes trash to disposal locations.
* Cleans and dusts office furniture and related items.
* Operates floor cleaning machines and uses mops, pails, sponges, brushes, cleaning chemicals, window washing equipment, vacuum cleaners and related material and tools.
* Removes ice and snow from stairways, walkways located in buildings and facilities.
* Spreads sand and salt as required by weather conditions.
