IT - Senior Network Technician 2026/27

The East Irondequoit School District has an opening for Senior Network Technician in the Information Technology Department. This is a competitive, 12-month Civil Service position working 8 hours per day, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:


+ Schedules installation, replacement, movement, and repair of all network communication equipment (terminals, printers, modems, etc.) & resolve helpdesk tickets

+ Maintains detailed information on all network problems, including statistics on vendor reliability and responsiveness;

+ Responsible for district fax system

+ Responsible for maintaining district Raptor visitor software and hardware

+ Troubleshoot network connectivity and wi-fi issues on devices

+ Supervises Network Technicians;

+ Assist with inventory maintenance and surplus runs on surplus days as needed

+ Image devices using LANDESK or setup inTune
