IT Operations Manager

MatchBox is urgently seeking an IT Operations Manager for a 6-month contract (high probability of renewal) opportunity for our New Westminster based public sector client. This is a hybrid position (2x per week in office and 3 days remote) where candidates must be located in the lower mainland.

Role Responsibilities

Cross-functional engagement and stakeholder coordination

Operational risk assessment and mitigation activities

Oversight of enterprise technology platforms and operational services

Service performance monitoring and process assurance

Staff supervision, coaching, and resource coordination

Third-party supplier and contract relationship management

Financial planning, expenditure tracking, and efficiency initiatives

Alignment of technology services with organizational priorities

Governance support, reporting, and initiative coordination
