OVERVIEW AND ROLE SCOPE OF TEAM AND/OR TASKS

Advising & Student Support Tasks

• Act as an academic advisor for a diverse population of students, including but not limited to academically underprepared, undeclared, first generation, and nontraditional students.
• Identify barriers that students face, suggest solutions to student challenges, and make appropriate internal and external referrals.
• Provide a high level of customer service and create a welcoming environment for students.
