Inventory Controller

About the Role

The Inventory Controller is responsible for undertaking cycle counting and root cause analysis of inventory accuracy issues created through the sales, operations and despatch processes, as well as the diversions process for wire production at Newcastle Wire Mill and the subsequent inventory accuracy checks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead by example in promoting workplace safety, ensuring compliance with policies, conducting risk assessments, and actively participating in safety initiatives.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock control, and coordination with warehouse and production teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain records.
• Collaborate with operations to handle rejected products and make decisions that optimise product outcomes.
• Work closely with the sales team to manage rejected products and ensure customer needs are met effectively.
