Position Summary
To provide for the needs of patients of varying ages, their family, and physicians. To perform a variety of patient care tasks and procedures in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements. Working in an environment with the application of ionizing radiation for cardiac, neuro, and vascular procedures.
Education
Two years of formal radiologic technology training in a school approved by the Council on Education of the American Medical Association, successful completion of the Association's examination and/or formal training in Cardiovascular Technology.
Experience
Previous practical experience as a staff Radiologic Technologist
Skills
Certification from the State of New Jersey X-ray Technician Board of Examiners required and ARRT certification preferred, CPR certification and unit based orientation. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and risk fac...
