Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school team.

This rewarding role focuses on delivering targeted interventions to support pupils who need additional help in areas such as phonics, reading, writing and maths. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to help pupils close learning gaps and reach their full potential.

Location: Burnley

Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour

Start Date: Tuesday 1st September 2026 or ASAP

Contract: Full-time – 8.30am – 3.30pm

• Deliver structured intervention sessions on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
