Job Description
Internship Position: Maintenance Reliability Engineer Student (Fall 2026) Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia (Plant 41). Internship dates: August 31st to December 18th, 2026. Hours: Monday–Friday, on‑site only. What will your day‑to‑day look like?
Conduct plant‑wide equipment criticality assessments to classify assets based on risk and operational impact. Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on critical equipment, using tailored approaches for high‑priority assets and standardized methods for others. Analyze plant performance using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support the execution of reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in preparing for health and safety audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
