Job Description

                Contract to Permanent FM/IM Physician Full-Time - UTMB Correctional Managed Care:
County Jail near Houston, TX 
The Opportunity At a Glance Position: Full-time FM/IM Physician 
Start Date: ASAP (takes days for security clearance) 
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:30a-3:30p or 7a-4p (cst) 
Call: No call 
Patients per day: 20-25 
Age Range: Adults 18+ 
Case Types: General correctional intake- sutures, bumps/bruises, sickness, intoxication, vitals 
Sole PCP on-site, part-time cardiologist and dialysis physician. Medical assistants and nurses make up support staff 
EMR:  
Located within the confines of a county jail. Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required.  
 What We Offer for perm: Competitive base salary: $280K, will allow for locums for first 2-3 months of employment with expectation of becoming a W2 after 2-3 months fulltime
