Internal Grants Facilitator

Responsibilities

Internal awards provide funds for new and innovative research projects and activities within the University, and provide support to researchers in accelerating their research programs. The Internal Grants Facilitator will manage a suite of internal grant funding programs in adherence with Western Research policies, procedures and guidelines. The role responsibilities include providing guidance and acting as a subject matter expert to faculty, staff, post-docs and students across campus regarding assigned internal research grants, and delivering client‑oriented services in support of the university's strategic research initiatives. The Internal Grants Facilitator will facilitate the development, implementation and administration of internal grants programming, including the development and implementation of guidelines, program administration and adjudication, and serving as the primary point of contact.
