Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, the Internal Communications Associate assists with the Port's internal communications. This role helps support an inclusive and equitable environment by defining and expressing the organization’s voice, creating and supporting opportunities for staff engagement, and developing content for different platforms and internal audiences, including internal news on a SharePoint intranet site, internal e‑mails, employee meetings, presentations, publications for internal chat networks, and more. The position requires experience and passion for assisting with the development, design and implementation of strategic staff communication, content strategies, and expertise in creating a two‑way communication flow while maximizing staff engagement.
