Join UCT as a Welder Grade 2 to perform welding tasks in a cleanroom environment, ensuring quality and adherence to technical standards in the semiconductor industry.

Your role

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform daily checks on welding equipment, machines, weld head, torch, gas piping, and work area to meet UCTM standards.
• Ensure 6S requirements are met daily before and after shifts.
• Set up welding equipment, selecting appropriate welding methods, machine settings, and consumables.
• Create 'Weld Coupons' daily before production starts.
• Execute Work Orders as prioritized by the Production Planner.
• Verify all 'Kitted' components, including bent tubes, match production drawings and are in good condition before starting jobs.
• Weld joints according to print requirements, including type of joint, weld bead size, start/end points, and overlap length.
