Intermediate Environmental Scientist (Whitehorse)

Role Overview

Intermediate Environmental Scientist – Whitehorse, Yukon. 50% field and 50% office work, supporting projects across Yukon, NWT, northern B.C., Canada and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Historical data review and site inspections.
• Groundwater monitoring and sampling; hydraulic conductivity testing.
• Surface soil, water, and soil vapour sampling.
• Supervision of drilling and remedial excavations, installation of monitoring wells.
• Photographic and written documentation of site activities.
• Communicate with on‑site personnel and Project Manager.
• Assist in building client relationships.
• Promote Health and Safety programs and culture.
• Collaborate with other regions and Indigenous communities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant environmental or geoscience program.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Phase I & II ESA...
