Intermediate Accountant

We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with three days in the office and two days working from home. Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive bank reconciliations with a focus on handling complex accounts.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and address discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Analyze and manipulate exported data in Excel to support reconciliation and reporting needs.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs to manage large datasets.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and gather critical information.
