The Position

• An Interim CVOR Nurse Educator is needed to support and build a growing CVOR education program within a high-acuity academic medical center environment.
• Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, this leader will oversee approximately 30 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include developing and implementing CVOR education programs, mentoring and supporting preceptors, onboarding new staff, collaborating effectively with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams, and helping expand procedural complexity and case volume within the department.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive CVOR experience within a Level I academic or similarly complex environment, including cardiac scrub experience and strong communication skills.
