Main duties of the job

The Deputy Service Manager will provide strategic and operational management support in service areas agreed by the General Manager.

The post-holder will be responsible for providing timely, efficient and effective strategic and operational managementsupport,withtheoverallaimofensuringthatservicesareresponsive andprovided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.

He/she will also lead the development and implementation of projects to improve service deliveryandpatientexperienceinkeyareasandwill drive performanceandquality to ensure targetsaremet.Thepostholderwillalsobeinvolvedincostimprovementprogrammes.
