Instrumentation Technician

• Perform structured fault finding on PLC-controlled process plants, SCADA systems and field instrumentation, including diagnosis of communication networks (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
• Involvement with small scale software changes and programming of PLC and SCADA systems
• Calibrate and verify temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH, ORP and conductivity instruments in accordance with OEM specifications and site standards (experience with OEMs such as Vega and Endress+Hauser will be advantageous).
• Assemble, disassemble, test, maintain and repair instrumentation used in water treatment and chemical processes, ensuring minimum plant downtime.
• Audit, control and maintain instrumentation spares inventory, ensuring critical spares availability and accurate documentation in line with Proxa standards.
