Instrumentation and Control Engineer – Peterborough, ON BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. (BWXT NEC) supplies nuclear fuel and fuel channel components, services, equipment and parts for the CANDU® nuclear power industry. The Fuel Handling and Engineered Solutions group designs, manufactures, tests, supplies parts and services for on‑power refueling, reactor maintenance, and nuclear medicine tooling worldwide.

Our Role Reporting to the Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Manager, the Engineer supports technical direction for projects, interfaces with internal and external customers, and provides engineering design, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for fuel handling, tooling, medical isotope systems and remote delivery machines.

Your Day To Day

Prepare/verify elementary drawings/schematics, electrical assembly drawings, single line diagrams, equipment specifications, and technical documents in compliance with applicable codes & standards.
