Instructor Per Diem, Adult Education

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide instruction to students enrolled in English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) classes and/or Adult Basic Education (ABE)/ Spanish High School Equivalency (HSE) classes on an as-needed basis; • Deliver prepared lesson plans and/or adapt existing curriculum to meet student needs during assigned shifts; • Incorporate computer-based or online learning activities into instruction when applicable; • Maintain basic documentation of student attendance and participation for assigned sessions; • Administer informal assessments or support ongoing student evaluation as directed by program staff; • Communicate relevant student progress, needs, or concerns to the Program Coordinator of designee; • Refer students to internal support services as appropriate • Coordinate with Program Coordinator and instructional team to ensure continuity of instruction; • Participate in periodic check-ins as needed; • Attend trainings ...
