Job Duties

• Qualified applicants will be required to teach in the traditional areas of Industrial Mechanics, as well as program specialty areas based on current program needs.
• Ability to teach in other program areas is an asset.
• Manage classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students.
• Follow academic regulations and/or policies adopted by SaskPolytech and/or Saskatoon Campus.
• Accommodate students with special learning needs.
• Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with industry and educational requirements.
• Practice good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Work cooperatively with program heads and colleagues in a team environment.
• Prepare and use appropriate delivery methods for instructing courses as assigned.
