Job Description

Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking an Instructional Designer to join our eLearning Team at the Invercargill Campus on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key responsibilities include the development of engaging, learner-centred digital materials across in-person, online/distance, and blended programmes; and the provision of professional development opportunities for academic staff to support them with digital course design.

Qualifications & Experience Required
A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in instructional design (or related fields such as training or education).
Proven experience in course design and development, especially for technology-enhanced learning.
Proven experience with the use of content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate), multimedia software and Learning Management System platforms to develop digital learning assets.
