Instructional Coordinator (Community Schools Coordinator)

The Community Schools Coordinator works within assigned component school districts and across the W-FL BOCES organization to develop, implement, and sustain the community school model. This role focuses on aligning school, family, and community resources to support student success and strengthen school-community partnerships.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


+ Work with component district administration to develop and implement the community school approach which is to be aligned with district and regional priorities.

+ Serve on assigned steams as representing community school concepts.

+ Provide leadership to promote the community school model through technical assistance to component districts in advancing community schools concepts.

+ Facilitate focus groups of administrators, teachers, school staff, parents, and students identifying areas of strength and challenges within the school.
