Instructional Consultant

Reporting To: Directors of Teaching and Learning

Job Goal

To serve as a resource to teachers and administrators in the assigned discipline or specified area for the purpose of facilitating and supporting instructional improvement.

Qualifications

• Holds a Master's degree and the required Kentucky certificate for the assigned position.
• Holds a valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate for Supervisor of Instruction or Consultant Certification.
• Has a minimum of three (3) years' experience in curriculum and instruction in the assigned discipline or specified area.
• Has extensive knowledge of state and national standards and accountability systems.
• Has extensive practitioner knowledge of research-based, best practice instructional strategies and possesses the skills to search for and access additional information.
