Instructional Assistant – Meadowlark Academy – Intensive SEL Classroom – St. Helens
Three positions available for the 26/27 school year (August 24, 2026 to 2027). The position is classified and part of the Early Learning department.
Key Information
- Position Title: Instructional Assistant
- Location: Meadowlark Academy (within Lewis & Clark Elementary), St. Helens School District
- Reports To: Principal
- Compensation: $22.07 – $26.39 per hour (DOE)
- Billing: Classified Salary Schedule – Range C
- FTE: 0.9375 (37.5 hours per week)
- Bargaining Unit: OSEA
- Position Size: 3 openings
Responsibilities
- Prepare instructional materials under the direction of a licensed teacher.
- Provide instruction to individuals and small groups of students, focusing on IEP and IFSP objectives.
- Assist the teacher in planning and grading students' assignments.
