Good knowledge of adhesives, underlays, and installation techniques for roll carpet. Competent in using carpet tools (cutters, welding gun, rollers, stretchers, seam irons, etc). Perform basic carpet measurement and calculations for accurate fitting. Prepare work surfaces by sweeping and cleaning floors before adhesive application. Remove and strip old carpets when required.
