We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in ICT Operations at Dorset Council. The Network Engineer plays a vital and influential role at the heart of Dorset Council’s digital infrastructure. As the organisation increasingly relies on modern, cloud‑enabled, and highly connected services, the stability and performance of the council’s network estate underpin everything—from frontline social care and emergency response systems to digital collaboration, public‑facing services, and major transformation programmes.

Working as part of the Infrastructure Team within ICT Operations, the post holder helps to deliver a secure, resilient, and high‑performing network environment across a diverse and geographically distributed estate.
