Informatica BDM, Unix, SQL(Support role)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Informatica BDM Support: Provide L2/L3 production support for Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) / DEI workflows
• Monitor and manage BDM jobs, sessions, and workflows
• Troubleshoot failures in Spark-based mappings and big data pipelines
• Analyze logs and resolve issues related to data processing and job execution
• Perform job restarts, reruns, and recovery activities
• Unix / Linux Support: Work extensively on Unix/Linux systems for monitoring and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and batch processing
• Perform file handling, process monitoring, and system checks
• Debug job failures using Unix commands and logs
• SQL & Database Support: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and debugging
• Work with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or PostgreSQL
