Infectious Disease Physician

Dates Needed: Monday, August 18 Sunday, August 24, 2025
Shift: 8 hours/day (flexible start time; typical 8 4 or 9 5)
Setting: Acute Care Academic Hospital (300 beds including Behavioral Health and Maternity; 125 true Med/Surg beds)
EMR: Meditech (legacy version)

Opportunity Highlights:

• Academic environment with resident presence GME/teaching experience preferred

• Provide inpatient consultative services; all adult patients

• Consults may come from inpatient units or ED

• Approx. 20 new consults per week per provider, with a census of 20 patients

• Collaborate with employed physicians and private attendings

• Supervise and support night shift coverage

• Emergency credentialing available in 1 day
