Facility in Cumberland, MD seeking Infectious Disease locums coverage Rates: $275/hr Position Overview The facility in Western Maryland is seeking a Board-Certified Infectious Disease Physician for full-time locum tenens coverage due to a turnover vacancy. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call. The physician will provide inpatient infectious disease consultative services and manage ongoing cases independently. Schedule & Coverage
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Start Date: Mid-May 2026
- Flexibility: Will consider locums available 4 days per week
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
- Call: Daytime call only during scheduled shift (telephone/beeper)
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or 24-hour call
- Privileges: Full privileges available
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
