Industrial Sewing Machinist Required to work for manufacturing company Milton Keynes

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To produce high quality products that meet specifications, both as a part of a team and independently.
• To achieve all individual performance standards as agreed.
• To produce sets of mats aligned with Company KPI's.
• Follow works instructions to ensure accuracy on specifications.
• Quality inspect sewn products.
• Minimise and control all waste.
• Carry out daily pre-use machines checks and maintenance.

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorised changes.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.
