**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-volume plastic extrusion manufacturing environment. This role focuses on identifying root causes of equipment failures, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and supporting safe and reliable plant operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 facility.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment including extruders, controls, drives, gear boxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, synchronous belts, v-belts, sheaves, roller chains, sprockets, conveyor systems, motors and gearboxes, loaders, various pumps, compressed air systems, blenders, hoists, and other equipment associated with plastic extrusion.
+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures to the root cause and perform necessary repairs to restore safe and efficient operation.
