Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY: Coordination, follow up and co-implementation of improvement projects to maximize the use of the company’s resources, seeking cost reduction and optimizing processes flow, including but not limited to: workforce optimization, line balancing, space optimization, layout designs, efficiency maximization, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support Managers by conducting and/or participating in Kaizen events to assess and eliminate waste and non-value-added activities (such as 3P Events, SMED, Line Balancing, Standard Lean Event, etc.).
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory, work in process (WIP), raw materials, and finished goods without affecting customer delivery or decrease in volume.
• Plan, coordinate and manage capacity planning to ensure continuous rapid improvements as measured by on time delivery, cycle time, inventory days on hand, inventory accuracy and cost.
