Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Adobe InDesign automation scripts using ExtendScript (.jsx). • Automate document creation, layout formatting, pagination, and content placement. • Build reusable templates and workflow automation tools for publishing teams. • Integrate InDesign with JSON and external data sources. • Create scripts for batch processing of InDesign documents. • Develop custom dialog boxes, UI panels, and productivity tools. • Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation workflows. • Collaborate with editorial, design, and production teams to gather requirements. • Generate automated outputs as PDF. • Evaluate and implement modern Adobe automation technologies such as UXP where applicable. - DITA XML workflows • 5 yrs+ experience in Indesign development
