Independent Board Director

Responsibilities

As one of 14 Directors, you will be responsible for setting Alectra’s strategic direction, providing oversight to operations while identifying, managing and monitoring key organizational risks. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of the statutory and fiduciary duties of a Director and a continuing commitment to act honestly, in good faith and in the best interests of the organization. The Board meets at least six times a year and you will be expected to serve on two Board committees, for a total time commitment of approximately 20-25 meetings a year.
