Job Title

SD No. 57 Prince George-Inclusive Education Department is seeking a 0.3 Limited Duration Contract Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of students who exhibit communication difficulties to develop intervention strategies.
• Design, implement, monitor and evaluate intervention measures directly and in consultation with school and district staff.
• Provide counseling to students and parents as appropriate.
• Provide written reports on all formal casework.
• Consult with teachers, principals and administrators in the development of policy and programs at the school and district level.
• Provide formal in-service sessions for teachers, parents and other professionals to develop and upgrade their knowledge and skills.
• Conduct and disseminate research relevant to the needs of students in the school district.
