Incident Support Unit Operative

Job Description

Egis Road Operations M40 Ltd is looking for Incident Support Operatives to work as part of a team in carrying out highways maintenance tasks and responding to incidents as instructed by the Supervisor or control centre. They will also complete specialist night duties such as pothole and patching repairs, safety fence repairs, carriageway sweeping and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend briefings and training to enable all duties to be carried out safely and sustainably.
• Encourage a positive attitude toward health, safety and the environment; report hazards to the Supervisor or Foreman and demonstrate care for own health and safety as well as that of fellow workers.
• Carry out safety/debris patrols and identify and make safe defects on the carriageway.
