Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable In-House Attorney to serve as in-house legal advisor to the Prairie Band, LL (LLC) Board of Directors, and their designated executive level employees. The incumbent will ensure compliance with applicable laws to protect and enhance Tribal sovereignty to avoid or prevent expensive legal disputes and litigation and protect the interests of the LLC. Promote Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation (PBPN) core values when reviewing all contracting and joint venture opportunities. compliance.

Advise and represent LLC in a wide array of federal contracting matters.

Reviews contracts, grants, leases, and other legal documents and presents interpretations on legal content prior to signing and submission of documents in a timely manner.

Perform due diligence and review proposed teaming/joint venture agreements.

Ensure all governance documents comply with PBPN Title 25.
