IMS Core Engineer

Tangent International are urgently looking for a IMS Core Engineer (preferably ZTE product) to work a 6 month rolling contract based in Kenya (Nairobi)
Job Description
Domain:
IMS Core Hands-on experience (preferably ZTE product) for more than 5 years in production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, operate, and maintain IMS network elements including CSCF, SBC, MGCF, TAS, ENUM, MSS, MGW, HLR, HSS, EIR, STP, SPS, DRA.
Perform routine health checks and preventive maintenance to ensure high availability and network stability.
Analyze alarms, logs, KPIs, and performance counters to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
Handle L2 level network faults and incidents, troubleshoot major and minor alarms, and restore services within defined SLAs.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring, critical, or high-impact network issues and implement corrective actions.
