Import Operations Manager

**Description**

The **Import Operations Manager** will provide leadership to the branch and manage a variety of general warehouse activities in an accurate, efficient and cost-effective manner.

**Responsibilities**

+ Oversee daily operations of the import hub, ensuring efficient movement of inbound freight from ports into the distribution network
+ Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, drayage carriers, and freight partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation
+ Coordinate inbound container flow, including scheduling, tracking, unloading, and detention management to minimize delays and additional costs
+ Partner closely with Procurement, Sourcing, Logistics, and Transportation teams to align inbound freight strategy with inventory and demand needs
+ Monitor freight costs, accessorial charges, and carrier performance to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities
