Import Coordinator (Contract 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Manage communications with overseas agents and local customers, ensuring timely follow‑up on import sea shipment documents and inquiries.
• Create and update shipment records, including job opening, data entry, and monitoring HBL status (original BL or telex release).
• Prepare and process payment vouchers for liners, container deposits, and coordinate with finance for payment arrangements.
• Generate and distribute key documents such as cargo manifests, NOA, IID, and customs submissions (K4) to relevant parties.
• Coordinate with warehouse and port operations for unstuffing plans, NHK arrangements, and return of empty containers.
• Monitor payments for COD customers and follow up on uncollected cargo with agents and consignees.
• Resolve operational issues related to container damage, demurrage, detention, and cargo claims, providing necessary documents and evidence.
