SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Manage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Raw Material (RM), Purchased Finished Goods (PFG), and Direct Packaging Material (DPM) in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP, enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning process in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.- Assist the Purchasing Manager in assessing the optimal logistics solution considering packaging type and size, batch size, use of distributors, transportation, local customs regulations, local laws and regulations, etc. for all Raw Materials (RM) and communicate the findings to the relevant category managers.- Assist the Purchasing Manager in ensuring that supplier invoice control is carried out in accordance with company guidelines, that relevant customs regulations...
