Description
*The need is for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to be Medical Director and provide detox services.
*Ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience working with vulnerable populations, including patients with substance use disorders and/or in an Acute Treatment Service setting and 2 years of experience managing programs and a multidisciplinary staff
*The physician will review all detox protocols, and will be responsible for writing and signing the orders for all patients. They participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and provides on-call coverage.
*Passion for addiction work required, along with suboxone certification
*This is a Monday through Friday position with light call.
