IGA Dairy/Fresh Team Member

The Terang & District Co-op’s IGA & Liquor is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Fresh department team. The role includes working in Dairy, Meat & Milk sections.

Reporting to the Department Manager, key duties include providing friendly customer service, ordering, merchandising and strict adherence to food safety requirements.

Key responsibilities are:

• have a friendly personality,
• great customer service,
• receiving and storing deliveries,
• strong eye for detail and presentation,
• high standard for food safety & hygiene,
• physically fit,
• demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, and
• have a Forklift licence, or willing to obtain.

While previous food handling experience is not a requirement, you must be motivated to learn and grow. On-site training and supervision will be provided.
