Background  IETA is an international non-profit industry association, working to promote effective market-based solutions to climate change. We work together with our 300+ corporate members globally, to scale up emissions trading systems, voluntary carbon markets, and international cooperation under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.  The Business Partnership for Market Implementation (B-PMI) is an IETA initiative which supports emerging carbon markets in select countries.

Currently the B-PMI programme is active in Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, West and East Africa.
