Pay Rate: $18.50 Hourly

General Responsibilities

Managing a team to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

A. Operational Functions:

· Managing a dispatch team that schedules and coordinates deliveries and pick-ups.

· Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered timely into tracking software.

· Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and location of drivers.

· Tracking delivery progress of shipments.

· Managing the zoning of driver dispatches to ensure they are cost effective routes.

B. Administrative Functions:

· Keeping records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.

· Managing and tracking detention times accurately per shipment.
