JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for operating laser engraving equipment to accurately identify and mark various tools and inserts with correct corresponding identification numbers to ensure tooling controls are in place.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Clean and prepare tooling for 2D Marking utilizing tool room die cleaning standard work.
+ Ensure proper placement of components in either storage or 2D Engraving equipment to avoid damage and ensure accurate engraving placement.
+ Utilize tool room inspection equipment to identify or confirm zero defects to tooling prior to use.
+ Confirm with Product Engineering correct tooling identifiers prior to engraving.
+ Attend training functions, possibly including after work study and/or travel to obtain technology updates.
+ Maintain a high attendance record.
+ Abide by plant safety rules and promote safety awareness.
