Hydrovac Operator

BRT Construction is currently seeking Hydrovac Operators to join our team. BRT construction uses Hydrovac’s as a non-destructive method of excavating that does not use the alternative method of mechanical equipment or hand-digging.Our Hydrovac’s use high-pressure water and a vacuum system to effectively and efficiently expose shallow/deep utilities. Must possess and exhibit a strong safety acumen
Previous Hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or other related experience preferred, but not required
Mechanical inclination an asset
Must be able to work independently and demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
A valid class 3 or 1 driver’s license is required
First Aid, C.S.T.S., H2S, Fall Protection, W.H.M.I.S., Confined Space, and Ground Disturbance are assets but are not required
Must be eligible to work in Canada *Previous shallow utility experience is helpful but not required to apply
