Job Description
The Role (What to Expect):
The HVAC Testing and Balancing Technician is responsible for testing, adjusting, and balancing HVAC
systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with design specifications.
This role requires hands-on use of tools to measure airflow, water flow, and system pressures, while
troubleshooting imbalances and collaborating with the commissioning team to verify system readiness
for handovers.
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and project schedules to identify
testing requirements.
• Track asset readiness and coordinate with other commissioning team disciplines to schedule
TAB activities, ensuring equipment and access is available.
• Maintain communication regarding CX timelines via Teams, emails, calls, text, etc. to
appropriate stakeholders.
